Where your money goes
Funds are held in Paws of Surat's account. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Every transaction ID and amount is published below.
Every donation carries a transaction reference. Gifts marked Verified have been matched to our bank/UPI statement; Unverified ones were just submitted and are awaiting that check - counted separately until confirmed.
Rules the software enforces
Not promises we make - constraints the code applies to us.
Totals are calculated, never typed
Raised, Spent and Balance are summed from the rows listed below every time this page loads. There is no field anyone can edit to change them.
No expense without a receipt
The server refuses to record a spend that has no receipt image attached. That is why every expense here can be opened.
Every gift carries a reference
A donation cannot be recorded without its UPI/bank reference, and the same reference cannot be used twice. It stays Unverified until it is matched to our statement.
Nothing is ever deleted
Mistakes are voided with a written reason and stay visible, struck through. Every change is written to an append-only activity log.
